Vision

 I had to see the eye Doctor today.

And not a moment too soon.

It has been so long since I could afford the luxury of such care. And that has proven quite costly.

Things have started happening.

Images have been appearing on my screen. Images I could not make sense of, reconcile or understand. For a moment there it all got so blurry. I thought I saw a world on fire. A world gone mad. A world in peril.

I've had to catch myself from time to time.

And Choose to Focus.

So as not to lose Sight.

The loop of dramas and calamities played endlessly before me.

But this False Evidence Appearing Real, is what the Doctor sought to Heal.

For things were not as they had seemed, and clearer Sight could be redeemed.

Proper Vision Care is Vital.

And of great consequence.

The good Doctor assures me. There are Clouds in my eyes. But there is Remedy.

With a shift of precision

We'll make the incision

And come back into View.

Clear Sighted and Keen

My Vision Redeemed

By removing the Clouds that had darkened my screen.

I am deeply relieved

And I Choose Now to See

With a Vision Restored

And Renewed Clarity

From the Heart's True Perspective

All that I shall See

Will Look now to Me

To be Blessed

And set Free.

My shiney new Gun

 I believe that thoughts are things. Before the words are spoken or the actions taken, the thoughts arise. I have a choice which thoughts I will nurture, feed and grow, and which I will let pass like clouds in my Sky. I believe I am responsible for contributing to this world through the energetic frequency of the thoughts I send out that will ripple across our shared waters. With this in mind, I've found, to my utter amazement, a tool I can use in order to take aim at my target. I sought to hold the shining, silver steel. The judgements and criticisms and the blaming of others. The festering internal fears and an inability to understand the ways of those I disagree with. The Realm of Shadow and Light

 I recently saw a post on social media that caught my eye and captured my attention.  At first I wondered why someone would post such a grim and disturbing photo amidst these troubled times that beg for hope and healing. In the photo there is a doorway that largely reflects the shadow of a gnarled and twisted and lifeless tree. The shadow looms and seems to hiss and contort itself into the face of a monster who has come to devour its prey. I questioned why this photo would be shared with such a trembling and tender world. I could not, however, look away. I studied it closely. I wondered and sought answers. And I decided to read the comments of others who had viewed the post. Through the commentary I heard the chorus.  Through the commentary I was given a metaphor for life.  In one clear voice, those who had commented, sung out this essential refrain: Look Toward The Light.
